Hi, I’m Sabrina — and this is the story of how Yellow Plane Branding came to life.
I started my career after graduating from George Brown Polytechnic’s Fashion Management program, where I discovered how much I loved product development. That path led me to some incredible opportunities, including working on product for Hudson’s Bay Company during the Olympic Games and later moving into merchandising roles with Staples Promotional Products and Cotton Candy.
Over the years, I learned a lot about products, suppliers, clients, timelines, problem-solving and what it really takes to bring an idea to life.
Then, while I was on maternity leave, I started thinking about what I wanted the next chapter of my career to look like. I wanted more flexibility, more ownership over my work and the opportunity to build something that felt like mine. That idea eventually became Yellow Plane Branding.
Today, I get to bring together everything I’ve learned in product development, merchandising and promotional products to help turn ideas into meaningful branded merchandise. I love the creative side of the work, but just as important to me are the relationships, the details and finding the right solution for each project.
Yellow Plane Branding has given me the opportunity to build a business around the work I enjoy, the experience I’ve gained and the kind of life I wanted to create.
